My light bar rotted a few years ago right where the square tube meets the channel. It was a lousy design in the first place. Butt welded on three sides of very thin metal. I did a temporary fix with metal straps, but i finally decided to do it right. I ground off the old weld points, cut a couple of pieces of 2"x2" square tube, cut the angle (about 55 degree cut), but welded and then added gussets that should have been there in the first place. It worked out pretty good and is very strong now. The light bar comes off pretty easy with a few bolts and makes it easy to work on. Just wanted to pass it along in case anyone has the same problem. Thanks for looking.
