Helo I currently have stainless salt dogg spreaders and wanted to possibly extend the side so that they can hold more salt and the salt would not spill over the side as much when I pile it up. I am tossing around ideas like wood side like a 2x 12 high or getting a local welding shop to do a stainless extension. Has anyone done this? if so how did you do it how high did you extend it and was there any issues with doing that as far as balance etc , pics would be great as well Thanks.
