I would like to like to know if anyone is using a Voltex lightbar and if so what do you think of it?

I used one last season and was not impressed with it. It worked fine at night, but during the day you almost couldn't see it. Also it had seams where the plastic was bumped together and they weren't sealed. It wasn't water tight. I paid around $278 for it on ebay.

This season I ordered a Whelen Responder from strobes n more. It is easily twice as bright as the Voltex, and it is completely water tight. It cost me $299.

I think the big difference is the Whelen is made in the USA. ussmileyflag
