I just bought a used Vee Pro 6000. I got it for a steal... :yow!:It is a few years old with mininal rust on the frame. Has anyone had any issues with this unit? I am looking at running a sand/salt combination through it... Does anyone have suggestions or had any issues with the sand? It has two vibrators on it.. one on the bottom and one on the front by the auger.

They usually won't spend sand very well. controllers fry quite often.

OK the second vibrator means it has the sand package in it. Watch for clumps, keep the connections clean and well coated with di-electric. If the controller or wire harness crap out replace them with Karrier units.
