Looking at a 2004 F-450 2wd, 7.3l with utility body and ultra-mount plow. Mileage is unknown right now but looks in good shape. What would be a good price range?

I would make sure of the year. They quit putting the 7.3 in trucks in 03'.

very doubtful you'll find a 03 7.3. i think they produced them for 3 months? price can fluctuate rapidly with mileage

Reman engine at 66k? Sounds like a 6.0 to me.

    Ive got one. :D

    00 7.3 f350 95k no real problems
    03 7.3 f550 45k never had an issue
04 6.0 f550 40k can drive itself to the dealer by now
06 6.0 f250 93k same as the 04 in fact it may even be at the dealer now.

needless to say I would look hard to find another.

They put the 7.3 in until 2003.5 There are definitely no 2004 7.3's.

Went and test drove it.133k on the clock on a 2000 model year. Truck has a little stumble at idle and low end rpm. Needs some tlc but what would be a ok price for it? Looking to get a backup truck. Any advice would be great!
