V10 rpm at idle?

    This is my first v10. It is 1000 rpm at idle in park. Is this right? In drive it is about 700 or so.
    What does everyone else idle at?

    Sounds about right, maybe a tad high.. Maybe run over your vacuum hoses on the engine for good measure.

    Mine idels the same. Check the PCV elbow for cracks. They are known to get brittle and carck.
