Up side is you should get a screaming deal. Excursions are PLUMMETING in value. I have 01 7.3 and was offered 23k on tradein LAST year with 40k miles...

I like the truck, but it pisses me off how fast this thing depreciated. I know a pickup wouldn't have. Then again the sticker on our truck was 46k and I only paid 35k for it soooo.

Why dont you look for a powerstroke X?With a V-10 your not gonna be able to pass a gas station with out stopping.

I wanted a Excursion, but the wife wouldn't go for it. Got a Expedition instead which is bad enough on gas, can only imagine how the Excursion would be on gas. About how many city blocks to a gallon would you get?:waving:

My 7.3 x gets 14-16 around town, 18 highway and 11.5 towing 8k at 75mph (don't freek speed limits out here are 75mph)...

Oh and don't forget the 44 gallon tank...

That is with the diesel. I would expect that with a V-10 you wouldn't be able to get above 10mpg

Well thats still better then a H2 (Hummer).

32 gallon tank averages 6.8 mpg best easy in town driving.

    Bargain at $50,000!

    I have a 99 F-350 with V-10 has 53,000miles and average 13m/g pulling a light trailer. (7,000lbs. or less)
Highest ever was 14.8 on high way going 65mph. Go over 70 & you can watch Gage go down!
