I'm new to snowplowing. I'm in the process of getting a used model 800 blizzard in excellent shape previous owner any used it a handful of times to plow his own driveway (plow came off of a Dodge). It will be installed on a 2003 chevy 2500hd CC with the duramax engine Do I need to do anything to the front suspension? How does the frame mount look with the plow off? I think that the mount is going to interfer with the lower plastic bumper trim. Are there any members that have a picture of a 2003 chevy front to see how the frame was installed. Any tips would help. What would be a fair price for the plow?

I would take the plastic air damb off the Bumper. That way if you ever sell the truck, you can just pop it back on and it looks stock again. The mount is very similar to a boss plow mount except the lights stay on the truck if you want. If you want to take them off it is just two more pins and plugs. With having the diesel engine you will want to get some Timbrens.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep that in mind about the Timbrens. Also I have fog lights that are part of the lower trim.

Yes I would take the air dam off, also timbrens are a really good idea.
