    Hi all..

Question.. anybody ever come accross U jonts on the front shaft ( drive ) that had two diff size caps per joint?? Not sure what i should do ??? have driveshafts rebuilt ?? or just keep rigging them ?? The rear and t case yokes are a larger size than the shaft.. so I guess at some point the shaft was replaced with the wrong one .. Or is this common ?? never came across this my self before ?? what do ya think.. thanks

Yes this is normal from my expriance. I just went thru my
Front Axle & front drive shaft on my 88 F-350 .
The u-joint from the shaft to the axle uses 2 size end caps.
When you get new ones from the parts store it should be right.

    Thanks Bob

Strange enough... Yup... They used the two diff cap sizes.... Got the right ones and they are fine... The Guy at the joint shop said that the shafts were made by one co and the yoke s by another so that s why the diff.. ?? Thanks
