I have a 9 pin western unimount on a 2001 Chevy 1500. Just clicks on any button and parking lights get bright. Any suggestions?

    Sounds like a ground issue...

    Start by checking the solenoid.
One of the two small pins is signal power from the controller. U, L,R,
    the other is ground.
One big lug is battery power, other is battery power out while pressing U,L,R,

Are the parking lights only coming on when you press the controller?

Since the plow park lights are connected to the vehicle park lights in parallel it is understandable that they might light up if you have an open main ground from your motor through the power plug to the battery negative. When you hit a function (Up, dwn, L, R) it sends power through the motor which feeds back through the park lights and seek out a ground through the truck park lights. I expect the signals and headlights are lighting up too but they are just not bright enough to see.

Take a booster cable and jump from the plow motor ground lug directly to the battery negative post, then try your plow functions again. If it works you need to look at your cable from motor to grill plug, the plug pins and the cable from grill plug to battery negative post.
