I am getting a new harness and the 2 headlight relays in the mail tomorrow. I would like to finally get a harness in my truck and get the plow working. The "old" harness i have has had the headlight relays stolen and the ends of the wires cut off. Does anyone have a schemacic as how to wire the relays?

Also. i am replacing the old western sealed beam lights w BUYERS dual bulb lights. Any schematics on how to wire those

Ok. Wiring up the truck side now. Ran into a snag. When i ordered the truck side harness and plow side harness. I just figured the headlight harness was part of the truck side harness. Well I was Wrong. I need another piece of harness to go between the relays and my truck headlights. A friend had a BRAND new #61591 harness he got for a 03 F350, but will that work for me? And what does one of these "headlight harnesses" go for

As long as your Ranger has HB5 bulbs (which it should) it will work fine , it will also work with HB1's with a "tweek" of the plugs.

Bulbs will be marked on them which ones they are.

$50-$60 new , depending on where you get it from is probably a good going price.

    You do not have to , both trucks (2004 Ranger & 2003 F350) use 9007 bulbs(HB5)

    Plug it in and enjoy.

Oh my, sounds like something is wire up wrong.Wonder what that might be..

Might be the black/red or the brown wire not making good contact on the relay. Or just might be a bad relay..

Happy New Year everyone......say it now..might be a sleep when it turn over to 2011..

    Ok. figured it out.

When i unplug the 9 pin connector, my plow lights go out, the plow markers stay on, relays start humming, and truck lights dont come back on. Unplug the 12v plug, plow parking lights go out, relays stop humming and truck lights come on. Must be back feeding thru the ground
