Just received my preowned boss plow. However, fedex decided to smash the passenger side headlight and turn signal lens.

Problem is, after taking the the long screw out that holds part of the ts lens in the tube, the rest doesn't come out. Now it looks as if its a solid piece, but can't really tell.

Any suggestions on the removal of this piece?

Are you trying to remove the entire turn light assembly or just the rear portion?

If you removed the long screw then there's nothing else holding the assembly in the tube...but they do get stuck in there pretty good sometimes. I've broken the lens's before just trying to remove it from the tube. Just have to work and wiggle them out.

The interior assembly is fine, its just the amber lens that was broken. And yes it is wedged in the tube, alot!

Take the two screws out of the back of the light assembly and remove the back cover. Then remove the two other screws that hold the rear main bulb housing to the amber lens. This will prevent you from damaging that section of the light (if its still good, or your not replacing it).

Now you just need to get the amber lens out of the tube...by whatever means necessary. :gunsfiring:
