    Hey guys:

I'm really new to the business, but I really enjoy it....so far. Anyways, I'm in Cleveland and we get belted with pretty good snow falls.

So, I was working as a sub-contractor and was making around $27-$30 / hr.
What are your feelings? Is this good money (considering I'm providing a $36000 truck and $2500 plow) or should I be charging more?

Also, what about driveways? Do you all have a set price per drive or do you prefer hourly as well?

Thanks for the pointers. I've been really pleased with the wealth of info. from you guys!! This site is fantastic. I'll be sure to let my friends know about it.

Around here as a sub you would get $65 to $85 depending on blade width and experience.

I got a $35 minimum on driveways. But again it depends mostly on the size.
Most of mine are in the $45 to $65 range (including sidewalks)
