I am looking for a picture of what the truck side mount looks like for a power hitch 2.
I'm about to possibly buy a new HD or Speed wing for my 09 2500hd diesel. Everything I find has the plow attached and can't see anything on the truck.

This isn't the best picture ... hope it helps. This would be the "summertime" look with the mount adapter removed.

Thanks! Do think I'd have to do any trimming on a 09 2500hd?

Depends on your bumper style I guess. You got one of them there fancy trucks or a plain jane pickup? I have an '06 of ours right now. Also, I have got an '04 and a '13 coming in next week. I will watch for any trimming that is needed and get back to you.

What do you call fancy? Its an LT step above work truck I think.

Also trying to decide if I can install it or just pay them to. My biggest concern is the wiring harness.

If you are not afraid of installing the mount, then you will have zero problems with the wiring. It is plug and play with 3 wire.taps.

thanks for the help! Now I just have to decide between the HD and Speedwing blades. I don't have any huge lots or drives so I'm leaning towards the HD.

Not sure if you are talking about a chev or dodge 2500 here.

On a Silverado you have to remove the bottom air dam and the cut the main air dam from the tow hooks down.

Wonder if its the same mount for the power plow as it is for the speedwing or if its different.
