Truck Requirements

    Would a 93 GMC k1500 4.3 6cyl do the job in upstate NY? Thinkin about picking one up for around a grand.

    What are you looking to do? Lots or residentials? I would stick to a maximun of a few driveways and that would be about it.

    driveways and 1 doctors office parking lot.(about 20 spaces)

    I had 6 trucks that were a 1500 from 85 to 89 with the 4.3 in it and had no problems keeping up with the 350's in the other 1500's or the 2500's. Ran circles around the 350's in fuel milage and pushed the same snow. Ran those trucks plowing commercially, sometimes for days straight.
