    pics of truck after salting .havnt plowed yet this yr but lots of salting.
    this is my first yr with a v-box i dont miss loading 50lb bags

    My guess is so he can throw salt bags and hit Spreader on the one side.

    As long as you dont floor it you will be fine .....who needs tie downs there so over rated!!! LOL

    Oh by the way what brand of v box is that the name on it is SO small i can hardly read it!

    PS we bolt and strap our v boxes down

    i slid the box over so i can put bags of calcium on the side. it is tied down i have a ratcheting strap wrapped around the spreader attaching it to the front cleats and straps on all 4 corners keeping the unit from moving around i know having the spreader over changes the center of gravity but 1000lbs of cal evens the load.
    truck 04 2500 with rear air bags, hemi .the truck doesnt even strain with a full load
    and stops great.

    Besides the tie downs what were you salting? Blue skys, parking lot is bone dry and there is no snow on the ground.

    i took the pics at a shoppping center that i salted 12hrs earlier. we havnt plowed yet this yr but have had a lot of icing/ freezing rain

    Sorry if my post came across as a dis or something. I was just looking for the ratchet straps. I like to see how some of the guys with the bigger V Box spreaders keep them in the bed.
