Hey guys! My 1990 chevy k3500 7.4l idles way down when you come to a stop. In park the truck idles just fine. It sounds like it has a nasty cam but it dont lol. It idles so far down coming to a stop that you think it is going to die. The truck is fuel injected with a throttle body with 2 injectors. Im thinking it is maybe a Fuel Pressure Regulator but not sure. Any ideas on what it could be. The plugs wires and cap are only a year old. New fuel filter in Feb. Thanks guys

I would start by removing the idle air speed motor on the side of the throttle housing, and clean the motor and the ports going in and out of the housing.

im having the same problem. im just going to the chevy garage. tired of these back yard mechanics putting wires plugs and other stuff that may not need changin. dont waste your money. go to the dealer pay for the dianostic, and get what is broken fixed.
