just wondering how hard it was to pull the springs off the trip edge on a fisher plow. Want to paint my plow and it would be easier to do with them off any special tools i need ect?

A spring compressor would be good as the springs are under compression in their static mount.

Go to your local Fisher dealer and spend about $40.00 for Fisher's trip spring removal tool. I was hesitant to buy it at first, but it was well worth the money.
