Can Anyone Tell Me How Tight I Should Go On Springs? Tried Pushing Heavy Sleet Accumulation And Tripped Out. I Never Adjusted Them They Should Be Like New Strength, Any Ballpark For How Much Thread To Expose, etc. I Don't Want To Overtighten And Break Truck.
    Tnx,
    Rich

Does your plow have the compression springs or the traditional set up where the springs are stretched to offer resistance?.

It is hard to over tighten the compression (trip) springs on a Hiniker you will run out of threads first.
Mine are tightened down all of the way and it still trips.
