    I have a 1990 Chevy Scottsdale and i have been told by different people differtent transmission fluids to use. If anyone know what to use for a 5 speed, 2 wheel drive, 1/2 ton transmission, please let me know.

    For years 88-93 there were two 5 speed manuals made. Be careful since one takes Dexron IIE ATF and the other takes Syncromesh GM Manual Transmission Fluid. The NV3500 calls for 2.2 qts. If it is the MG5 (on 2 wheel drives) on yours, it takes the Syncromesh fluid. This is all taking into consideration you have the C1500. Hopefully this helps as it's my first post and I don't want to see anyone mad at me. :cool: If not, I'll try to help you further.
