I have a 2005 2500 Ram with the Hemi. The transmission has failed (the pump went). Are there any aftermarket transmissions out there that can offer me something other that a stock replacement transmission?

I know with Fords, Brians Truck Shop had awesome transmissions, I'd just googgle them and see if he offers tranny's for Dodges. Brian's Ford remans were more than just a rebuild he actually designed and made replacement parts that replaced all of the weak components, when he was done his transmissions were truly unbreakable!

You may want to check out diesel truck information since the Hemi and diesel share their abuse on autos- lots of tranny specialists that build beefed units to handle up to and in excess of 800hp and have track records with the diesel Bombing scene to show for it. I have a local tranny shop I know and trust well who has done mine both times (TC failed in December at the end of a storm with only 70K on it - TC rebuilder ate a portion of the rebuild costs including supplying a new revision HD TC well below cost.)
