Why not just go to a shop that has a power flusher unit? ( This is a device that hooks to your trans lines. The dirty fluid flows in the tank and the new clean fluid flows into your trans. It's about $100 and 15 minutes. )

i might be mistaken but power flushing does no good because you still have a dirty filter in your tranny.

It's a bit more expensive than listed above but a local Chevy dealer here does flush with filter for $160.

I have this done once per year. Good investment to keep the thing clean and strong for the longhaul. THe 4L80 isn't known to be bulletproof, but not a bad tranny either. Good peace of mind for me to have the flush.

I service the trans (4L80E) in my daily driver and boat hauler (10K+ lbs) every 20-25k miles. Finally rebuilt it with 190K on the odometer.
