My 2001 sierra ex-cab 4x4, 5.3 , tranny cooler lines are getting rubbed by the steering rod/knuckle when I turn the wheels left. It actually pushes up on these lines. the lines are still attached to the factory brackets, and nuthing is bent. ...Do you think they were just routed incorrectly?

any ideas? they are also starting to show some rust..

    might fix it

If you can, either bend(adjust) the bracket so that the lines stay clear or fab a bracket out of some mild steel. It wouldn't be a bad idea to put some rubber hose around the lines to keep the lines from wearing through. Hope this helps.
