Can anyone tell me if you have taken a Traditional Mount Western 8' Plow and moved it to a newer truck? They Western dealers tell me it can't be done but I tend to believe someone out there has done it successfully. My Traditional Western Mount is currently on an older (86) Chevy but I want to move it to a newer Ford or Chevy. Any ideas on retrofitting the frame to a newer model truck? HELP!!!

I am currently in the process of putting one on a 92 Chevy 1500. The plow is from the late 70's, I have to make a few pieces to make it work, but it is well worth it. What year truck are you going to put it on? I live in Hammond, just outside Chicago if you need a hand
