I just bought a plow for my lawn mower, a craftsman 3000 series......

i assembled it and i realized that the blade does not lock in the raised position.... am i to believe that you must hold it up while driving the tractor to transport?

this doesnt seem right as the lift arm is not very solid and seems quite wobbly....seems like i am missing something.....

any one own one of these that can help me? i have read the directions 5000 times to no avail.

It isn't a craftsman, but my JD blade lifts by the same mechanism that raises/lowers the mower deck. The blade came with a bracket that attached to the raise/lower arm and then a piece of steel that connects to the blade frame.

There has to be something your missing. A part or two maybe.
