Hello everyone. I am new to the site and wondering if anyone has an idea what fair market value might be for a Tractor Owner/Operator for a full plowing season in the Toronto area? A farmer i am talking to thinks 30k is fair for him and his John Deere 7230 & 10'-16' blade for the season but thinking its a little high... Any thoughts from farmers or other Owners out there. Thanks for your input.

I wouldn't even try a flat rate but that's between you and him. $65/ engine hour minimum if you're providing fuel, $80 otherwise. So if you think you'll get more than 400 hours work out of him go for it.
