After reading the "Damage Toll" Thread, It's time to start a "Tools behind the seat Thread"

    Ice scraper
    Flashlight w/ extra batteries
    WW fluid
    Jumper cables
    Basic tool kit
Wire connectors and wire tool and electrical tape
    wire ties
    Spare hydraulic hose
    Hydraulic fluid
    Big Adjustable wrench
Tranny fluid (if you have an automatic)
    Extra serpentine belt
    Plow pins w/ cotter pins

    Things I have to add...

    Spare fuel filter
Tarp to lay on under truck in snow bank.

I'm sure I have more that I've left out, what else should we have?

    I'll add to that list...
    Channel locks
5lb sledge (actually came in handy for recrimping a connector on the 4gauge lead wire)
    Spare solenoid
    Tiedown straps

I know theres more, but 90% of your list is in my truck

I keep tons of stuff organized behind the seats of my reg.cab. I will have to get a few pics. Off the top of my head:
    Emergency plow repair kit
    Led spot light
    tow strap
    Nylon straps
    orange safety triangles
AAA emergency kit-with jumper cables and a bunch of other stuff
    fluid film
    rachet/socket kit
    tire repair kit
    hammer, screwdriver, pliers, tape measure
    fire extinguisher

I think thats most of it + my jack and tire irons and stuff are back there

Now I may sound like a worrying mom here but: When I first started in the landscape business we watched a video in college of why you should never have things in your cab. Tru-Green has a company policy about this subject because one of their drivers was killed by a small toolbox that he had in the cab with him. The driver got into and accident and the box went flying around the cab like a missile they say. Also if you pay attention, yes you have jacks and tire tools behind seats from the factory but they are fastened down. For this very reason I have a saddle box in the bed with all my chains, tools, etc. All I'm saying is be careful out there, one small accident could give you a big head ache..........or worse.
