I don't use it for plowing but, what tires do you recommend for a 2WD 1500. The dealer put new cheap off-brands on it. Will those be good enough? I was looking at the Bridgestone Duelers A/T. Should I try adding weight to the bed first? Thanks!

What are you using the truck for?

I put a set of Firestone Destination AT's on my 2 wheel drive Dodge Ram and they're awesome. I've had them on for about 15000 miles and still look great. They wear very good, and have great wet and snow traction. I haven't used them in the mud though. They're really quiet too. Go to Tirerack.com and check out all the postive feedback left for them.
