I have a Henderson spreader with a 8hp Briggs and Stratton engine. I recently changed out the manual throttle cable and I'm finding it impossible to get it to move smoothly. When removed, the cable moves freely and easily. The throttle linkage on the engine also moves freely with no cable attached. The cable has no sharp bends and is installed properly. Any ideas to make it work easier? It takes a decent amount of strength to pull it in and out.
    thanks

When you tighten down the end near the linkage, don't overdue it. Just snug.

thank you, that makes sense. I might be too tight and pinching the cable.
