I am making a frame out of angle iron for a 91 wrangler and a 6.5ft fisher speedcast. I posted before and someone said 1/4" would be thick enough for the angle iron. I have another person telling me 1/2". What thickness should I really go with? I was thinking 1/4" would be ok.

1/4" is fine. 1/2 is wayy to heavy.

1/2" is insane. 1/2" is for a ten story building not a small 6.5' plow. You will be more than ok with 1/4" angle iron.

    way thick

1/4 is just fine if you build it right unless you want to use a tag axle to hold the plow up !
