    I also have a friend named mike! No really. He only washed and lubed his new western salter twice. ( in two years) So when he called me in mid oct. and said his salter was all - - - -ED up, I was not surprised. He spent about 2 days and $350.00 replacing everything that was supposed to move. Attached are the picks of his truck at a car wash at the end of last season, wash #2.

    P.S. we salted after that wash!! Many times

    Man I try my best to clean my trucks within 2 days of snow use.

    Also lube the stuff back up right after that too.
