what are the pro's & con's of the lock-up verses the non lock up th350 trans which is considered more desirerable?i have installed a non-lockup in a truck that had a lock-up do i have to do anything with the two pronged electric connection(is there a ignition cut out) what triggers signal to the trans?

The lockup is just for better fuel economy. If you don't have the wiring to hook it uo,I'd just leave it.
