    finally broke down and decided to buy another plow truck

    two weeks later the salesman find me what i want

    a few days later its at the dealership
    we finish paperwork

    it goes to upfitter for plow, etc

    a week later its at dealership again

    go to see it and drive it home tonight

    they want to keep it another day to re- align it with plow on

    kind takes some of the glory out of getting a new truck

    2002 2500 hd reg cab long bed 8' western new style mount

    i wont be posting tomorrow

    what motor did you get? great truck. youll love it. i havent plowed with mine yet though. we need snow.

    just the 6000 , i will almost never need anything bigger

    pretty much got her plane jane except for the hd parts

    plow prep trailering, etc

    Alarm bells should be going off! The truck should be aligned without a load, what they say they are doing is ok if you plan to never drive with the plow removed. Do yourself a big favor, go over that truck, and drive it, before you sign ANYTHING. Leave your emotions at home! Check it over GOOD! And Im speaking as a former dealer sales manager here, not just a plow scrub...

    i am sorry i mis spoke they are going to adjust the torsion bars a bit and then will re align because of the adjust ment to them the work will be done with plow off truck but needs to be done because of extra plow weight

    That sounds more appropiate. I could not imagine aligning a truck with a plow on it. Even if it was going to be used only to plow it would seem like an odd idea. That would be a funny sight on an alignment rack :D
