Just wondering how many of you guys travel with the dump box up When spreading do you just keep it up or lower and raise it at every location/Job??
I'm guessing it cant really hurt the truck or anything if the road commission leaves it up all day!
    Any Dangers??

When i plowed with a tri axle dump we would put it up just enough to get salt in the back then lower it right back down and we would never stop when we did this.

When your riding around with it up it can make some problems. Like wires ,overpasses and plus its bad on the truck. Them pins in the back ain't made to have all the weight on them riding around. Plus you have a better chance of going over on your side.
