Tailgate spreader and backblade

    I have a 1995 2500 chevy with a front and backplow and I have a few driveways that need salt am thinking about putting a tailgate spreader on to has anybody done this and have some pointers Thanks

    There is a guy on here that runs a backblade and full V-box spreader. You can get it to work, it will take some fine tuning to get the spread so that it doesn't hit the backblade, and just become a drop spreader. It might be difficult to do with a spreader that has the motor below the spinner. With some custom fabrication, anything could be done. Maybe with driveways, it doesn't matter if it hits the backblade?
