I have ran hopper types but they like to clog.

I have ran V box with gas engines. No clogging but weight and engine were problems.

I like my tailgate speaders on my one ton but only have one.

I have dump inserts on my pick ups.....so I bought a Down Easter electric speaker and like it......they are small and easy to store, speads like a champ, seems to be a answer.

Any use them and like or not like them ? ,?

Your talking the tailgate replacement right? If so I had one for a year but didn't like it. The spinner sat too high and dumped salt all over the bumper and was hitting cars at the window level and if I remember right the spread pattern wasn't the greatest. I love Downeaster products, I love our poly v box from them, haven't had one issue with it in 5 or 6 seasons with it.

Good thought about the height....it is four feet off ground
