I'm looking at an 02 tahoe z71 for plowing and I'm putting a snowdogg hd75 with wings on it and was wondering if anyone on here has plowed with one and would like to see some pics thanks

Hope you don't need to throw salt.

No all accounts are plowing only

I ran a 99 last year was awesome. It was a comfortable ride, turned on a dime and I could haul almost a skid of salt in it

If you are just plowing, you should be just fine. Not that you can't salt with one, but what a pain in the ass that would be, unless it was minimal.

    Good luck!

He's going to need ballast. My Tahoe would nose dive with out salt in the back.and its not a pain an a four door. Your bags stay nice and dry.

Turn up the torsion bars 3-4 turns, add timbrens and you should be good to go,If you dont it might bottom out. A potential problem could be the rear windows fogging up,if it has rear heat a/c that shouldnt be a problem. The frame and drivetrain is basically the same as the pickups.Oh yeah you need ballast around 7-800 lbs.

Here was my first plow truck. It was an 04 Z71. Cranked the t-bars and added timbrens. Truck plowed great! Need to upgraded so I traded it in.

Nice Tahoe bean7654 how did it ride after the timbrens ? All I've heard is people saying their truck rides really rough afterwards, been debating on if I want to go with timbrens or throw a set of 2500 torsion bars and a leveling kit on it and be done I wish I could find a nice 04 in my price range their front ends can hold a plow better then the 02s can

I didn't mind the ride. It made it a little stiffer but nothing crazy.
