Is it ok or good to use mobil or amsoil 75w90 in the front dif of a 2002 chevy2500hd. I know it calls for 80w90 gl-5 but have heard its ok to use. I would like to be able to use the same fluid in the front and rear so i can purchase a case of it if possible.

If you have the black round breather on the front differential you should upgrade to the white to go to synthetic.
