I have a 8'6 Western uni-mount straight, can i switch to a v-plow uni-mount, with just changing the controller and the plow???

pretty sure you gotta change the wire too, i think when you have a V you can use all that with a straight, but not straight to a V

The wiring is different because the vee's have more solenoids to open/close... Also I believe if you have a uni-mount vee you need some adapter to go to a uni-mount straight..

Yup, wiring different, can go the other way, from v to straight, with adapter. Also will need controller. $350.00 or so through western, wiring harness about 140.00
