I have a ultra mount v plow. I picked up a straight blade and want to use it as a back up. Will the wiring still work? I hooked it up today and when I went to move it left or right, the motor ran but it didnt move. Could this be a problem in the plow? or is the wiring not interchangeable?

I didn't expect the wing and scoop/vee butons work-which they didnt.

I assume it is the MVP not the MVP Plus. If it is the MVP then all you need to do is buy the adapter for the straight blade control and of course use a straight blade controller and everything should work fine. I have the adapter and controller for sale if interested send me a PM.
