Any suggestions on replacing the flaps on my JD trs21 auger? I suppose it would be best to replace the rivets with stainless steel bolts. I just bought this in used condition and can't believe how fast it clogs the chute. the auger has enough rubber to scrape the driveway although it clogs within 3 to 5 feet of use....I miss my Dad's old Toro (I think and SD200?)

I found a few places that sell rubber kits, just wondered if anyone has suggestions on the best way to do the work ...
