I am just curious on what you guys would expect to be paid for a total of 5 tons of salt on a sub contract route with a total of 7 properties/stops. They are fairly close together. They are all within about a 6 mile radius. I am just checking to see if I have my standards set to high.

Be thankful you are getting to do this work. Most companies who sub keep all the salting for themselves. Last I checked big brown paid $95 an hour for a pickup with 2 yd box or a 10 yd dump.

I got a buddy who subs for brickmen... $75 hour plow runs a western wideout, $10 per 50 pound bag thrown.. Use to get $20 a bag from them, then one year they said its $10 now..
