Any ideas where to find a used sub-frame and nosepiece for a 97' K1500 Chevy Tahoe? The plow is a 2001 MT.

    Thanks!

This subframe and nosepiece are still available through your local Sno-Way dealer. Part # for the subframe is 99100067, and the nosepiece 96103001. Is the snowplow equipped with a light kit? If so the main light harness is #99100196. There are a couple of adapter harnesses that could be used as well. If you truck has LF/UF connectors, part #99100201. If it has HB3/HB4 connectors then #99100202. If you have 2B/2D connectors then no adapter is required. I hope that this information is helpful to you.

    Thanks for your reply Tom.

I can get a sub-frame/nose piece from an S-10. Would it be possible to adapt the S-10 mount (my welder buddy owes me)? Are they at all similar?

For some reason, I'm unable to send a PM, otherwise I would have responded to you directly.

    Thanks!

    Greg.

    Greg,

If you can get the nosepiece from the S10 kit you can utilize for your truck. The subframe kit 99100067 would be specific to your vehicle and designed to fit up without any alterations. Plus not having to purchase the nosepiece would save you some cash. If your welder buddy owes you, he should do the installation for a 6 pack. If you would like to send a PM, tobrien@snoway.com .
