Sub-contracting

    Quick Question for you guys Do you think that $75 an hour to subcontract is a decent rate. This is with out a sander in the truck. it would be $95 if I had a sander.

    Assuming 8' blade or less, then yes that sounds very fair.

    how about if your doing grunt work in a big parking lot? more experienced plows work in the close quarters and then you just push it in piles? will that fetch 75 an hour?

    I get $50/hr here and thats about what it goes for here.

    Around here thats good.Were i am i can get subs for around35-45 an hour with newer trucks.About 30 minutes from me my friend is getting a good 80$+ for just a plow truck.
