Hi All, I'm new here and thanks for reading my question.

I have an Airflo plow from 2013 that I am trying to wire up.

The Solenoid I have is a fisher, and I"m guessing this might be the problem. I wired it up according to the diagram, with a jumper from left little post to large post connecting to batter +. I connected the brown wire from my controller to the right small post, as indicated by airflo. Connected the right big post to the Plow +.

In this scenario, the plow controller always stays on, and will not respond to up, left, or right, only down.

If I jump the battery directly to the plow pump and skip the solenoid, the pump motor runs constant as soon as hooked up. The controller works in all directions but eventually blows its fuse, and the pump motor will not shut off until unplugged.

I have the same solenoid pictured here and wired it up just like this except the wire is brown coming from the controller instead of black: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...rILYAw&usg=AFQjCNGAASI3s13rtHiDe_WzUT-e4oZdgQ

    Thanks for any advice!

The little posts,,,,one needs to goto gnd and the other comes from the clicker.
That diagram is for a gnd actuated solenoid. Yours is positive.

    Hi again,

    So on this picture
    [IMG]

I'll hook the jumper as indicated, and then on the right prong I will hook a ground wire and the brown controller wire?

Just want to confirm so I don't blow myself up

    Thanks!

Take the red jumper off the batt lug.
    Then hook that to.ground
Then the other little stud, hook your clicker wire to it
