my truck was rear ended and part of the insurance claim was to fix the strobes that broke in the rear tail lights..

So I pick the truck up after the body shop has closed and everything looks great except the strobes no longer work. After the accident all strobes still worked except the one with the broken bulbs.

Now the black box or amp when turned on seems to plays a song for about 5-10 secs, the star lights up but none of the strobes turn on. Any ideas? Could the body shop replaced the broken bulb with a wrong one causing the whole system not to work? What with the jingle ive never heard before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try unplugging all the leads. Then plug them in one at a time. Sounds like one is shorted out.

Sounds like theres something hooked up backwards, or its shorting out.
