Ok my strobes (whelen 6 channel 90 watt) will be real dim for awhile then all of sudden they get bright again and stay bright. Is it because they are cold or what here

I don't undertstand what you mean. What is the model number of the PS? Unless you are using the low power wire, it should be capped off and not hooked to anything. I ask about it, because it sounds as if that low-power wire is shorting and putting the strobes into lower power.
