Just picked up a Western "pro series" plow (8ft with ultra-mount).It's on a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. The problem is when I'm either coming to a stop and slowing I'm hearing a sort of "popping" coming from under the truck.. It sounds like the front end somewhere..it also happens when I'm leaving a stop sign or light..as I get up to speed, the sound goes away.
When I take the plow off,the sound is gone...I'm thinking u-joints??
    any thoughts??

is it worse when turning? U joints or front axle joints are common on the truck
