Had this unit on about 2 weeks ago and tested it worked fine, not put it on and have a very loud whine while trying to operate, fluid level seems correct according to manual? the plow operates very slow compared to normal sorta like its stuggling for fluid?

    Any ideas?

I am a 15 year meyer user so this is my first boss any help would be appreciated

Take the front cover off and then take the fill cap off the tank and look inside of it. Also sounds like air in the systems.

Is the plow new or new used? If its low top it off and then cycle the plow. Up, down, up, left, right. And so on and so forth.

When you tried it before was it somewhat warm out? When you tried it now was it really cold out? I picked up a few year old used plow last year and when it was warm it worked great... when it was really cold out it barely moved and kind of 'groaned' until the fluid warmed up (which at -10 took awhile)... the previous owner put tranny fluid in it to top it off as he was to cheap to put the real fluid in. I changed out the fluid and works great now. Just food for thought...
