I am bidding on an HOA that has a 8% grade that is about 500 feet long. How would I attack that hill with my 06 Chevy 2500HD 4x4? Does anybody bid by the mile? How much would a truck and plow cover in an hour? I relize one mile of road is 2 or more miles with all of the passes. Thanks

Plow down instead of up and plow with the storm.

AJ hit that on the head. Stay plowing with the storm, never let a large amount of snow fall before you push, and plow down hill as often as possible.
